A road, a road in nostalgia, the way back. Still ahead.
Thailand is really a forgettable country. I still
remember the excitement and expectation that the aircraft just took off from
Chongqing two months ago.
By chance coincidence, I participated in the school
organization of the UTCC study tour project. Honestly, I am very hesitant about
taking part in the project. But I want to take the chance to get into different
situations. Happily, it's a rewarding trip.
When we come to UTCC these days, new buildings were being
built on campus. However, this scene didn't cover up the campus scenery. We
could see the tallest building from a distance. And there is a library of three
levels high which is hidden in the building. It's the most comfortable library
I've ever seen. Students can read and rest freely in it. Even when they are
tired, they can lie down and sleep. According to the local teachers, the people
who studying in Thailand have a very comfortable and relaxing classroom, and a
good learning environment.
Visiting the Grand Palace is the most memorable thing to
me. Actually, it was rainy on that day. But we were still full of enthusiasm.
It's located on Chao Phraya coast, Bangkok Thailand and was built in 1782. It is
obvious that there are numerous people around the world travel to Thailand to
visit it because it is resplendent and magnificent. They arranged us a guide,
who is a middle-aged woman. She told us the histories of the kings in Thailand.
They are respected by all Thai people.
Thailand is worthy of being called A Country of Smile.
Walking in the street and alleys of Bangkok, everyone can smile in good faith,
whether for domestic or foreign tourists. People are warm and friendly. I was
deeply impressed by one thing on this trip.
It seems that shopping at the duty-free shop is a
necessary thing to travel abroad. So, on the 4th day of the trip, our small
tour organization couldn't wait to get to the Royalty free shop. After we went
to buy some cold drinks in Starbucks, we began to devote ourselves to this
shopping paradise. And after a struggle in the mall, we were rewarding. At this
time, tiredness and hunger surged up. Therefore, we decided to eat our dinner
in the upstairs dining area. When we were going to pay for the meal, I was
surprised to find that I couldn't find my wallet. I felt flustered. After all,
all of my money and credentials were in the wallet. Then, one of my companions
reminded me that is it possible for me to leave my wallet in Starbucks. I hurried
to the Starbucks. Thank goodness, I smoothly recovered my wallet with the help
of the staffs, and it was intact.
With gratitude, I said goodbye to the clerks. One clerk
kindly told me that I should collect my belongings so as not to lose them
again.
How warm and kind the Thais are. They were the most
beautiful scenery on my way ,even better than those tourist spots.
I swear, I will come back to this beautiful country
again. Even if I come here only because of such a nice group of people. Just as
the saying goes, "Good mood will have good scenery, good visions will have
good find, good thinking will have a good idea".
